will monsters roaming on the world map come back? is this just temporary? cause I love adveturing through the wild with monsters

and could we have the explored map back. I know most rouglikes have it but its just more fun when you can choose where to go right from the start, perhaps in a cheat.

oh and I love your game, very newbi friendly (but too easy, I know its still being develeoped)

    dungeons feel nice too

    - keep getting stuck surrounded by water when going down a dungeon

    - instead of k for kicking door, how about space, I hate always having to hit the k key, its awkward, I keep my finger on the w key so my thumb could hit space easily

    - how about an arena on the world map somewhere, like in doom roguelike and mabe others

    - could different dungeons on the world map have there own style of some sort, I think this is already in there, seen trees in a series of interconnected dungeon levels etc

    - yep you need some law enforcment, but play balence could be tricky here . . . .hmmmm

    - large city or citys would be cool, mabe underground randomly generated ones. . .hmmm I'm thinking of large like city screen shots of Jade, the adom engine sequel

    - wars are cool, even mini ones like in Avanor where tons of orc raiders come after you into a town or castle and the gaurds fight with you, just cool I say

    - ok here we go, you could become mayor of a town and order your people to do some wip ass on another town and you could fight with them and give semi tacktical orders, just dreaming hehehe

    - you could have guilds with random quests etc

    - you could hire mercinaries that are in the arena to help you take over a town by force hmmmmm cool

    - you could have news at a pub or somthing that tells the player of the goings on in the world, some news of wich you could get involved in, not quests but mabe there was a fight in the wilderness between two rival guilds and theer are all these droped stuff there from the fight that you could check out, this kind of news thing is done in another game I play called the privateer remake, its a space trading game and open endid (and its free),

more weird ideas coming from ANONYMOUS soon

    - the pc could remember certain maps from his past life, mabe because his past life got done in by a marked creature on this map somewhere or almost done in hmmmm

:If you cannot move on water, you shall drop some items.
:*space key for kicking doors is good idea.
    :Area...yea
:dungeons under wild areas will be mostly caves, an you may find villages/forests etc
:you may learn news in a tavern,so to choose quests

Thanx for your interest ANONYMOUS, I'll do my best to satisfy you

    - there could be a low hitpoint warning pause like in crawl

    - can't find the tavern, is this a later thing?

    - I noticed that you now have a rather huge city near the bottom right of the map, coooool

    - have you been thinking of things the player could do in towns and citys? cause then I might be able to generate some new ideas there. . . thinking. . . .

-hit point warning added,I hope it works fine.
    -tavern is a later thing...
-soon thw world will be much bigger, no it's 40x22 stadiums, later at least 100x50
-many different thing you could do in a city, like assasins, stealing, search of a person...but it's some early for that :/

I'm running it in Windows ME, and it doesn't seem to work right. The game runs, but the display 'spills over' when it reaches the bottom of the screen--it seems to think it can display more characters than it actually can. As a result, characters get wrapped around and written in the wrong places all over the screen, making it impossible to figure out what's going on.

I use only winXP, where terminal window has 80x50 characters. win98 have 80x25, have no idea about ME.
Even if has 80x50 characters display you have to maximize the window. If still has problem then sorry, you have to wait the win98 version, Actually is done but there needed some changes....
